Installation
Note: Installation requires soldering. Users should have basic soldering experience.
Prerequisites
- Polaroid SX-70 (Original, Alpha, Model, Sonar, or other series)
- SX70 BLE Board module
- Torx or square screwdriver
- Soldering iron and solder
- Plastic spudger or guitar pick
Step 1: Remove the Camera Head
Locate the four screws behind the camera head. Carefully remove them and detach the head.
Step 2: Desolder the Ribbon Cable
Use a soldering iron to desolder the ribbon cable. Gently separate the front and back panels, and disconnect the original mainboard from the camera body.
Step 3: Install the BLE Board
Solder the BLE board to the corresponding connectors. Secure it with the provided screws.
Step 4: Reassemble and Test
After confirming there are no short circuits, reassemble the camera body. Insert the power supply and test.
Next Steps
Once installed, download the mobile app and pair with the board via Bluetooth.
